Psychotherapy
In my psychotherapy practice I frequently work with clients experiencing sudden life changes. I have experience working with individuals with psychological issues including anxiety, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, ADHD, illness, and grief and individuals coping with new levels of functioning following medical decline or chronic illness.
I also have 16 years of experience working with parents with children with developmental and acquired disability. I am here to help you process and adjust to your new life.
My treatment philosophy is based on the belief that the physical/ medical, behavioral and psychological interact together and healing comes from a balance of these factors. I am well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavioral theory, mindfulness, and transpersonal psychotherapy and use these in treatment to promote healing.
