What insurance plans do you accept?

We are in-network with the following insurance carriers:

  • Blue Shield of California PPO (California plans only)

    • The first three letters on your member ID must be XEA or XEH.

  • MHN (Health Net) PPO

  • Cigna/Evernorth PPO

What if I have a different insurance plan?

If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, you may still be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. As an out-of-network provider, we can provide you with an invoice (superbill) that you can submit directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Whether your insurance provider will reimburse you depends on your specific plan. We strongly recommend contacting your insurance company to ask about your out-of-network benefits for therapy and psychological assessment services.

How much do your services cost?

Our rates are comparable to other providers in the area:

  • Therapy (55-60 minutes): $250 per session

  • Psychological assessment services: $250 per hour

    • Assessments typically range between 8 to 10 hours in total.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

Yes, we offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need and individual circumstances. If our rates are not feasible for you, we can suggest other providers in the community. However, please note that many providers do not accept insurance.

How can I check if my insurance covers psychological assessments?

Insurance coverage for psychological assessments varies. We recommend calling your insurance provider and asking the following questions:

  • Does my plan cover psychological or neuropsychological assessments?

  • Do I need prior authorization?

  • What are my out-of-pocket costs, such as deductibles or copays?

  • Does my plan offer reimbursement for out-of-network providers?
