Dr. Obregon Madera

Dr. Obregon Madera is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology. With post-doctoral training in both fields, she provides expert psychological care, cognitive assessment, and neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents.

Dr. Obregon Madera earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from California State University, Northridge, where she focused on assessing executive functioning in college students with attention deficits. She went on to complete a second Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Clinical-Community Psychology from the APA-accredited program at the University of La Verne, conducting dissertation research on cognitive assessment in adults following cerebrovascular accidents.

As an active contributor to the field, Dr. Obregon Madera serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology, Journal of Psychopathology and Behavioral Assessment, and Peace and Conflict: Journal of Peace Psychology. Her pre-doctoral training encompassed neuropsychological assessment across the lifespan, and she completed an APA-accredited internship at Child and Family Guidance Center, where she focused on assessing and treating children and adolescents with ADHD and Autism.

In her clinical practice, Dr. Obregon Madera works with clients facing a wide range of psychological concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, grief and loss, and life transitions. She also provides behavioral parent training for families of children with developmental disorders. Her neuropsychological assessment services help clients 16 and older with concerns related to ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, psychiatric conditions, and neurological disorders.
